Whatever Wednesday's

Whatever Wednesday in the EA How To Facebook group is one of my favourite days. It's the day we get to talk about... Whatever! Six days a week dedicated to executive assistant content (which is amazing) and one day a week where we give podcast recommendations, talk about out latest Netflix binge, swap recipes and just generally chat about whatever.

So I thought it was time for a post dedicated to one of my favourite Whatever Wednesday topics and my current obsession. Skincare.

These are my skincare essentials. Every single item on this list is part of my current routine and by purchasing via these links, you're helping support free and affordable content for assistants.

Garnier Micellar Rose Cleansing Water

I have sensitive skin and I deal with hormonal acne. Once I started using Micellar Water, I never looked back. It makes my skin feel so clean yet nourished. Obsessed.

If there is one thing that has made the single biggest difference to my skin, it would be a tie between this and jojoba oil. The combination fo the two? OMG AMAZING! My skin has never felt as even and hydrated as it has since I started using this.

Jojoba Oil

I had never put oils on my face because silly old me thought putting oil on an acne prone oily face wasn't the right thing to do. Boy was I wrong! Skin goddesses Zoe Foster Blake and Caroline Hirons set me straight and thank goodness they did because wow. Dewy, glowy, clear skin for me! Who knew?

Cetaphil Moisturiser

<iframe class="_2xvJT" title="remote content" style="background-color: transparent;" src="https://dd9998ac-cb9f-4e5d-b55e-3a86f4d77589.usrfiles.com/html/db9376e69cfa487ea0fa0b912ae51a4f_v1.html"></iframe>

I like to keep it simple with moisturiser and Cetaphil has been a favourite for years. This one for day and this one for night.

Cleansers

<iframe class="_2xvJT" title="remote content" style="background-color: transparent;" src="https://dd9998ac-cb9f-4e5d-b55e-3a86f4d77589.usrfiles.com/html/db9376e69cfa487ea0fa0b912ae51a4f_v1.html"></iframe>

I alternate between three cleansers. They're all from The Body Shop.

The Body Shop Carrot Wash feels fresh and almost minty. A perfect pick me up in the morning.

The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter feels buttery smooth and gentle. It's delightful!

The Body Shop Oils of Life Revitalising Cleansing Oil smells a little on the funky side but feels absolutely glorious.

Make Up Remover Cloth

- Super effective? Check!

- Good for the environment? Check!

- Good for the bank account? Check!

Dermaplaning Blades

If you know, you know! For anyone thinking of trying dermaplaning, I'm confident in saying once you start, you'll wonder how you lived your life without it. Shaving your face may seem scary but it's actually the most fabulous and satisfying thing ever. Google it and be equal parts disgusting and fascinated.
