We’re excited to have you as part of the EA How To community! This page sets out some important ground rules regarding purchases you make with us. Please read this information carefully before making a purchase through EA How To.
The Short Version
We are unable to offer refunds after you make a purchase. Why? Because the moment you hit “purchase,” you get immediate access to our resources and exclusive communities.
Here is exactly how that applies to our different offerings:
Memberships
1. When you join EA How To Plus, you instantly unlock our library of replays, templates, and our private Slack workspace. Because this access is granted immediately upon purchase, annual membership fees are strictly non-refundable.
2. We will send you a reminder about your membership renewal, but it is your responsibility to note your renewal date.
3. You may cancel your membership at any time to prevent it from renewing at the end of your current billing cycle, but we do not provide pro-rated refunds for any unused portion of your current membership year.
Downloads and Courses
4. All standalone purchases of digital products and/or online courses are final sale.
5. Because these are digital goods delivered instantly to you, they cannot be returned and are therefore non-refundable.
"Cooling Off'
6. Consumers. If you are purchasing as a consumer (out of your own pocket), you have certain statutory rights, including a 14-day cooling-off period for digital purchases. However, by checking the consent box at checkout and proceeding to instantly access or download our digital content, resources, or community spaces, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you waive your right to cancel and claim a refund.
7. Business-to-business. Many of our members expense EA How To purchases through their employers. Please note that UK and EU consumer protection laws (including the 14-day cooling-off period) do not apply to business-to-business (B2B) transactions.
Paid Events
8. If you cannot attend: We do not offer refunds for paid-for events, workshops, or group coaching sessions if you are unable to make it. However, we record the majority of our sessions, and if you cannot attend live, you will typically receive a replay to watch at your convenience.
9. No Transfers: Tickets to EA How To events are tied directly to the original purchaser and are strictly non-transferable. You may not pass or sell your ticket to another individual.
10. If EA How To reschedules: In exceptional circumstances, EA How To reserves the right to rearrange or reschedule an event at our sole discretion. If we must change the date of an event and you are unable to attend the new date, your sole remedy will be a credit issued for the value of your ticket, which can be applied to a future EA How To event or resource. We do not issue cash refunds for rescheduled events.
